I'm a freelance content creator based in Pōneke/Wellington, Aotearoa.

I am a video creator by training, but have a sprinkling of communications

and social media experience. I like to make creative content that is informative

and reflects what I advocate for - conservation, equality, social change and the

well-being of the people and the environment.

 

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a Master’s degree in Science Communication, specialising in wildlife filmmaking. I studied for five years at the University of Otago for these, before moving up to Wellington mid-2019. Since living here I’ve worked and volunteered in different conservation spaces around the region: across bird, lizard and plant. I’ve made YouTube, Instagram and TikTok content for the Department of Conservation, Zealandia Ecosanctuary, and for my own platform 'outdoors with sum' - watch some of my stuff here!
